An Ideal Candidate for this Role will Possess:
Diploma Mech./Foundry technology or Equivalent
Minimum 5 Years’ Experience in a supervisory within a large manufacturing set-up
Knowledge in Foundry process
Heat treatment & Welding knowledge grade wise
Computer knowledge and Microsoft Excel
Should be able to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
Must be able to communicate work directions to team and drive results.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
6-8 years experience in embedded design
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience with antenna design and simulation
Experience in EMC design and testing
Experience working with Agency approvals of electronic product
Ability to design or direct others to design controls that will meet reliability, quality, cost, delivery, and safety goals with a low number of iterations and satisfy customers.
Responsible for delivering assigned projects to our customers, achieving or exceeding an acceptable level of customer satisfaction and the internally agreed level of profitability.
The role is the primary point of contact for the customer on all commercial matters, utilizing internal and third party resources, material and services to deliver the assigned project scope within cost budget, agreed timescales and to the required quality.
Full stake holder management of all assigned projects.
Support and develop less experienced members of the project management team.
Work with Emerson engineering functions to ensure adequate staffing of assigned projects to meet project criteria.
Engage with Engineering and Service functions to ensure the forecast of resources required for the project is well communicated and planned.
PMP certification and further education in business administration, operations, or project management preferred
Responsible for being the highest level of technical expert on site during the execution of the works, thereby guaranteeing the quality and safety of these at all times.
Experience of at least 5 years in carrying out electrical work in the assembly, commissioning and / or maintenance work of high-voltage electrical equipment (66/132/220/400 Kv), and specifically GIS switches and substations.
Experience in managing work teams on site.
Mastery and experience in the work processes of high voltage electrical installations (especially the processes associated with electrical discharges and safety procedures).
Manufacturer certifications for work on high voltage GIS switches or substations and certification for works with SF6, highly valuable.
Experience in electrical work in the assembly, commissioning and / or maintenance work of high voltage power transformers.
Execute structural discipline engineering assigned scopes of work within budget and schedule
Execute engineering activities (Concept, Front End Engineering Development, Technical Study & Detailed Design)
Maintain the required technical quality of work by adhering to and complying with relevant discipline specific Procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement
Keep up to date with technical developments, National and International standards and legislative requirements related to discipline work scope
Technically competent in own discipline and actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development.
Able to work with other disciplines and demonstrate team working skills.
This is a permanent position based on a client site on the South Coast of England, and requires demonstrable experience in a similar EPC role within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Perform the duties of a Electrical Engineer within the Electrical Discipline
Possess good knowledge in the field of electrical engineering.
Carry out work in accordance with company and project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems
Assist in estimating and scheduling of work scopes
MSc, MEng, BSc, BEng or HNC / HND or equivalent with relevant experience in the field of electrical engineering.

Rotating equipment: turbo gas generators and compressors, pumps, etc.
Interim/Progressive Inspections - witness/monitor/hold/review points during manufacturing and testing
Higher professional (technical) education. Rotating Machinery inspection experience related to Oil and Gas industry construction sites. Familiarity with material specifications and codes. Experience in reviewing rotating machinery Inspection Data Dossiers. Any additional technical certifications are a plus.
